All About Mrs. Michaud:

Howdy! My name is Mrs. Michaud and I will be your child's teacher this year. This is my 23rd year teaching, during which I have taught in the  Junior and Intermediate divisions. My passion for education revolves around teaching students to be successful using leadership skills and self-advocation. I pride myself on being a positive role model for all students in the building by keeping up to date with best teaching practices.

Outside of school, I enjoy the outdoors, travelling, listening to music, and spending time with my family. I have two boys; a 17-year-old, who is a lifeguard, enjoys being active, and actually loves school, and an 13-year-old who is outgoing, silly and a complete sweetheart. My husband is also in education and enjoys cooking fancy meals for our family.

In my spare time, I'm an avid reader. I set challenge myself every year to read at least 52 novels and usually succeed or come very close.  I also enjoy being active, though Netflix frequently wins out.  I enjoy swimming, wakesurfing and volleyball.

Please be advised, I always evaluate the work when students do peer and self evaluations as well, whether it is written, oral or otherwise (ex. The Arts).
